This blog was created to document and share my experiences with my friends and family while I am abroad. I am an International Studies Major and Environmental Studies minor at Macalester College in Saint Paul Minnesota. Between July 2008 and June 2009 I will be abroad, first at the University of Cape Town in South Africa, then at Maastricht University in the Netherlands. My area of study will be water development and international law…basically. This year will promises to be an incredibly valuable experience, though at the same time I will miss those who are either abroad in other countries or are in the States. So, I thought I’d start a blog to keep people updated on what’s happening with me, and keep in contact to know what is going on with everyone else in my life while I am gone.
